*Duties & taxes are set by the customs authorities of the destination country. We estimate the value to be between 25-40% of the amount paid for the item(s) ordered. The carrier will contact you directly requesting payment upon your order's arrival through customs, Ajaie Alaie is not responsible for these charges.
Ajaie Alaie is not responsible for the refund of any import tax/duty (apart from New York State Sales Tax) that your order may have incurred for returned items. Please be advised that any exchanges may require additional tax/duty for import to delivery destinations outside the US. If package is undeliverable Ajaie Alaie is not responsible for the duties incurred to send it back, this will be deducted from your refund.
If you don't completely love it we'll gladly take it back within 14 days.
If you choose to use our pre-paid USPS return label, a return shipping fee of $7 USD (domestic only) will be deducted from your refund.
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. If the item does not arrive back within 14 days of issuing an RA we cannot issue you a refund or exchange. If we receive the item after 14 days of issuing the RA it will be returned to you.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, please write the order number on the mailer from the e-receipt you received via e-mail and add an "RA" in front of the number. i.e Order #1001--> RA#1001.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
To request a return please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org to get an RA number.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges are free within the US. Sends us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a pre-paid label. Or just forward us your order confirmation e-mail letting us know your exchange situation.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

We do not refund original or return shipping costs. Shipping costs will only be refunded when the return is a result of our error or damaged merchandise.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
