Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING

- All orders are shipped by USPS on business days (Monday to Friday) excluding holidays. 

- Orders are processed in 2-3 business days. Once processed you will receive your order within 3-10 business days.

- If you choose to ship your orders to multiple locations, there will be additional charges for each destination.

- We are unable to ship to PO Box and military addresses.

- Ajaie Alaie is not responsible for delays in shipping or delivery due to force of nature or other uncontrollable events.

RATES FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING IN THE U.S

FREE - On all orders over $150

- Ground - $7.00
- 2nd Day - $25.00
- Overnight - $45.00
*2nd Day and Overnight orders must be placed before 2pm to guarantee same day shipping

RATE FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING TO CANADA

-Ground - $35.00

RATE FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING INTERNATIONALLY

- Standard- $35.00- $40.00 

*Duties & taxes are set by the customs authorities of the destination country. We estimate the value to be between 25-40% of the amount paid for the item(s) ordered. The carrier will contact you directly requesting payment upon your order's arrival through customs, Ajaie Alaie is not responsible for these charges.

Ajaie Alaie is not responsible for the refund of any import tax/duty (apart from New York State Sales Tax) that your order may have incurred for returned items. Please be advised that any exchanges may require additional tax/duty for import to delivery destinations outside the US. If package is undeliverable Ajaie Alaie is not responsible for the duties incurred to send it back, this will be deducted from your refund. 

RETURNS

If you don't completely love it we'll gladly take it back within 14 days. 

If you choose to use the pre-paid USPS return label, a return shipping fee of $7 USD (domestic only) will be deducted from your refund.

Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, please write the order number on the mailer from the e-receipt you received via e-mail and add an "RA" in front of the number. i.e Order #1001--> RA#1001.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALES ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

EXCHANGES

Exchanges are free within the US. Sends us an e-mail to hola@ajaiealaie.com and we will send you a pre-paid label. Or just forward us your order confirmation e-mail letting us know your exchange situation. 


GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

SHIPPING

To return your product, please mail your product to: 893 Bergen Street Unit 5 Brooklyn, New York USA 11238. 

We do not refund original or return shipping costs. Shipping costs will only be refunded when the return is a result of our error or damaged merchandise.


Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
